Christmas Cards for Unity Hop

Oh dear where has the time  gone. With about 15 days  till Christmas  I'm  feeling  the stress of not having things done early . I waited  to long to get started  on  my Christmas  cards  and  gifts. If you have been on the Unity show &tell  page  on Facebook you would  have  seen  the  15 Christmas  cards  i've made so far today. Had to stop cause  I  got  up early  today. Anyways  here  is  my  projects for  today.

This card above is my favorite  so far. I use my new Old Traditions  kit to make this. I also used  a teal colored  ink with a light pink ink to make it look like snow in the  background.  For my Christmas  cards  I've used a lot  of  the techniques  that i learned  from all of you guys.  I'll  also  be  sharing  the  Old traditions  card as my be inspired  challenge  card.

Well hope  you  all had a great day and shop the sale for me would  you please.

Thanksgiving Hop on Saturday

I was so excited to see that we were doing a hop on Thursday. I frankly kinda forgot about it cause I was getting ready for thanksgiving and Black Friday. I got lucky to spend Thanksgiving with my family without having to rush out of the house the only downside was I had to be at work at 4 AM on Friday. Now that Black Friday is over I can really get started on all my Christmas stuff. So today I made some tags for you  guys using several different techniques that I have learn in the past.

I just thought I would just show you guys what I came up with today.

Hope you all have fun.

Unity Brown Thursday Hop

Oh my gosh glad I waited to show some of my projects that I made Tuesday. I was so excited for the new release I started mine early. As always you guys are always welcome to come by and comment on any of my post. As you could tell I really had the creative spirit this week. It was fun something I was missing for a while. Hopefully it doesn't stop. Anyways I played with a few of my newer kits and I just love them. Here are a few samples:

This first one is one I just made for today's hop. This one is Christine Girl, love her she is so pretty. I did the sentiment upside down but I also added it right side up. The tag is a little small but I will be getting the bigger ones this weekend so I can use her for some of my gift tags this year. I use my red and lime green ink  and blended them together I think it turned out really good don't you think.

This one is Charlee Girl I used my green ink to blend on the edges and used markers to color Charlee girl in.

I love Christmas teddy. My family will tell you a thousand times over that I love Teddy Bears and I mean I love them. I rather have a teddy even though I'm pretty old now for that but I'd be happy with a teddy none the less. Isn't he cute. I blended the red and green inks again  and I'm happy with the result. This is going to be one of my tags as well. My sister loved it when I showed her the picture.

That's all I have for you today. Make sure you hop with the Design team and the others joining in the hop today and shop the sale. 60% off is amazing.

Thanks everyone

MFT Sketch Challenge 255 and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge

I definitely got the creative spirit this week. I got another card for you guys  this time I'm entering this in the MFT sketch challenge 255 and the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge. I love Christmas. It's my favorite Holiday regardless of all the craziness that is set around it. This year I've decided to make my own Christmas cards and gifts and tags. I really need to amp up the production though I won't have much time next week due to it being black Friday and all.

Anyways I made this beautiful card using Unity's kit Very Merry Christmoose. I used the sentiment "Have a Very Merry Christmoose"  and used the Moose and snowflake stamp to go around. I used the baby oil blending technique to blend the colored pencil on the moose.

This moose is so cute and he wants me to tell you to have a very Merry Christmoose.

Simon Says Monday Challenge

Hi everyone,

Wow I definitely have the crafting spirit in me right now. Especially with Christmas around the corner. I got into my stamps and viola I made four different projects in one night. It's been a while since I've done that many in a roll.  Anyways there is one holiday that is usually miss because of the commercialization of Christmas and that's Thanksgiving. I always feel like it's left on the back burner it goes so quickly and bam it's Christmas time.

For my card I used the sentiment "Just wanted to say Thank you" from the kit Butterflies and Sunbeams.  Then I used the beautiful young lady from the kit Rebuild Herself  I also used the leaf from the Beauty is Never Perfect kit from Unity.

Here it is.
I wanted to Thank every one who has ever helped me and my family in anyway. My family and I are so grateful to have you all in our lives thank you.

Beauty is Never perfect and Life is never perfect either

Beauty is never what it looks like don't  you think. Everything has to be this way or that way to be perfect. But this seems to be one of my pet peeves. Nothing is never perfect. Hey I'm not even perfect this week I've been struggling with a lot of stuff. I've seen others succeed in places where I just have not been able to. I wanted everything to be perfect this year. I thought that this year would be my year. I wanted a new job. I wanted to start my own craft business. That hasn't happen yet. I'm working on it but just can't find a way to get over the boundaries. So nothing in life is never perfect. Beauty isn't perfect. Which is why this card is so perfect for it. I used the kit Beauty is never perfect. It's ideal for the way I've been feeling lately. I'm still a little rough on the edges but I know that I'm beautiful no matter what happens to me. I don't have my life completely together but that's the beauty in it. I'm not perfect and will never be.

This card is a little different. It's off and that how it's perfect in every way.

I'm using this car in the Unity Blog Hop and also in the  #MFT Sketch 254 challenge.

Well that's all I have for you today make sure you shop the unity sale  and hop along with the designers.

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a delightful day. Here is my card for the MFT challenge.

I used Unity's Flutter stamp kit with the sentiment "My heart flutters with joy when your near me."
I just love the kit and enjoy using it. The butterfly is a great picture of joy in life. Hopefully one day I can use this for my husband if I ever get married.

I also made some circles and heart with puffy paint to go around my butterfly.

Well there you go for today. Hope everyone has a good end of the week.

Baby oil technique so fun.

Hey everyone ,

How's  it  going.  I  had a lot of  fun  today playing  with  my stamps. I made a couple of  cards for you guys. The baby oil  technique  is  awesome.  Here's  my first  card today that I  used the new technique.
I finally  got my mooses they are so cute.   The baby oil  definitely  gave them a very good  tan color. I definitely  found my Christmas  card theme. Can't  wait  to do the tags to.

I am Unicorn.  The second  card i used  with baby oil tonight. I unfortunately  didn't  have a qtip so I used a paint brush still worked  though.

Now this one is for everyone  who is fighting  or has lost their battle  with cancer. I've  had friends  who have or are currently  fighting. They are all survivors.

So I went to the craft store  today and got me some embossing  powder and ink  and was going  to  try it tonight but guess  what  I  forgot the embossing  tool.  Oh well hopefully  i can  try it next time.

Well that's  all i have for you today make sure you check out the blog  hop and make sure you  check  out  the  sale.

Have  fun.

MFT Sketch 251

Hi everyone,

I got another card for you. This one is for the My Favorite Things Card Challenge with their sketch challenge. I love doing challenges they make me create. They make me better at card making. This is my first time trying this out. I've been doing Unity Stamp Blog Hop for the last three months. Well not exactly 3 months but you get the idea. I really do have to thank Heather Hoffman if it wasn't for her blog showcasing all these other craft companies I don't think I'd be doing this right now. Definitely got a new set of websites I want to try out.

So for my first MFT card I used the Sketch challenge 251. I stamped with Unity's Believe in the Magic Sentiment Kit. I used another blending technique with the blue and misted it a little. I also put ornaments stamp on top of it.

Hope you all like it.

New projects pretty.

Hello everyone,

It's Tuesday. I got a few goodies today for you guys.

The first card I have for you today is  Miss Lillith Whimsy (Magic Happens). She's such a beautiful fairy. Loves the colors purple and yellow. She also loves to fly around and grant peaceful dreams to all the cute children in the world.  Here she is in all her splendor.

Next I tried some stamp journaling and used the kit Dream of Being. I used the sentiment Become the woman you dream of being. I've been dying to get this and finally did on my last unity order. I used purple and yellow paint to color her hair and sweater.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I have my calendar ready to go along with snow peep Kurt he's ready for some fun in the snow. Although in Indiana this year we won't be getting much snow so Kurt might be a little disappointed.

Well that's all I have for today. Don't forget to do the Hop with the Design Team. You can link up your project and they have an awesome prize this week so make sure you get your projects in. Also don't forget about the sale that starts tomorrow.

Have fun,
Lupe

Tuesday Hop: New Techniques

It's Tuesday yay... Time for another hop. I sure hope you enjoy what I have for you today. No holiday cards but I definitely got to try some techniques with some stuff I bought this past weekend.

Okay so here is my first one of the night. I used the ink blending technique with the itty bitty You fill my heart with Joy. I used some different colors to blend and the red for the stamp.
Now on this next one I used a mister to cause a water color effect on the card. I also used the blending technique as well. The kit I used for this one was the Courage to Imagine kit.

I enjoyed trying these techniques out. Remember to go by the hop and join in on fun. Also the Huge Surprise Discount Sale is still going on till midnight tonight so take a look and shop some more. If I could I would.

Have a good rest of the week.

Hello everyone it's Tuesday or should I say Thursday. Yay. I love Tuesdays and Thurs. Blog Hop day with Unity. Fall is completely in the air. All the festival and fairs are going on right now and I can't wait to go to one.

I got some new stamps recently and decided Tuesday morning was a good time to play with them. Today I picked a couple of my Halloween itty bitty's they are so cute. First one up is The BOO Crew. They are silly and frightening at the same time. Makes them even cuter don't you think. Anyways The BOO Crew are ready for Halloween and have cause major commotion around Indianapolis and Noblesville today.

Here is the front view so I took markers and made a Halloween feel around the edges.

Next is the interior where most of the commotion in Indianapolis and Noblesville has occurred. I also added the sentiment from the Gretta Whimsy kit to finish the inside.

Oh no!!! Dun, Dun. Dun. It's the wicked witch of West. She's here to greet you all with Hello My Pretty Little Friend. Now weather she's just trying to trick me or not I don't know. I do know that she can be cute when she wants to be and that can be a little frightening.

Well that's all I have for today. Make sure to stop by the Unity blog and check out the blogs and shop at unity for some more fun stuff. The sale is so exciting.

Tuesday, September 29, 2015

Hello Unity Friends,

How is everyone. It's Hop time. I love it. It's been a busy weekend birthday party for my niece and football for my nephew make for a long weekend.

I finally got to one of the stamps that I wanted to do for a while now. Want to do it for the Fourth but never got to it.  It's Liberty Girl.

Now this beautiful lady was made in the USA. She loves her flag and her country with all her heart.

I used some white card stock for the background and added blue card stock for the middle. On the ends I used my  knife to make the edges look old and rugged.

Well that is all I have tonight. Make sure you go by the Unity blog and check the blog. Plus go to the website cause they are repeating the sale from last week. I'm so excited about this. Hopefully I get to put another order in this week. Happy hopping and shopping.

Enjoy!!!!

Birthday memories for Unity Blog hop.

Hey everyone. Got a little thrown off this week. After buying some card stock my last pay check I got to start making new cards with different backgrounds. Still need more card stock but we'll see what happens in the next few days. Like I said last time my set of birthday months are coming up. And this week was my niece's 18th birthday. I keep wanting to cry every time I think about it. Although I don't have any halloween cards to share this week, my nieces birthday brought up a fond memory. She was only four or five at the time. Let's just say we all went trick or treating in my neighborhood at the time and she saw a guy in a warewolf mask. She ran to me and wouldn't let me go, even after we told her it was just a guy behind the mask. Poor thing was scared to death.  Here is my card for her birthday. I used blooming  Rebecca  and wrote my own little note.

Hope you guys enjoyed. Make sure to stop by the Unity blog and shop this awesome sale that's going on right now.

It's Tuesday ( Actually Wednesday). So excited to show you a couple of new projects I've done for unity. I was supposed to do it last night but works been a little rough been working a lot more often. Anyways I got some cute projects to show off.

Let's start with Kitty Whimsy with the sentiment "You're the Cats meow." I used some glitter on the edges. I love glitter.

Here's the last of my itty bitty's we got the little gal here with her pretty dress and shoes. Color all around and glitter as well. She's a pretty pretty princess.

Oh yes it's Party Time. Getting ready to celebrate my Nieces 18th birthday and the fact that she no longer has braces. She was so excited. Can't wait.  It's birthday season for me so you'll be seeing more birthday cards or theme party cards from me.

Can't wait to get more unity next week.

Blog Hop/ An abundance of fun.

It's Tuesday or should I say close to Wednesday. It's Unity Hop day. All the new releases are so cute I can't wait till Friday it's payday for me. I've been waiting a while to be able to put in an order but first off lets talk projects.

It's National Stamping month and Unity has been doing an itty bitty stamp challenge. I love these challenges it makes me a better crafter this way. I wonder what will come next.
This one is one of my favorite itty bitty's "To my Cupcake" I love it.

This was my original subject of the blog for tonight. Meet Greta Whimsy and she is so ready for Halloween. She likes to wear red and green. She kinda reminds me of a character in Hocus Pocus. Can you guess who?

Merry Kissmas is so freaking cute. Another of my itty bittys  for the challenge.

Well that is all I have for you today make sure you do the blog hop and join in the fun. I'll finish mine tomorrow. This is one person who is feeling very run down.

Unity Hop Card projects

Wow...I can't think of a better way to introduce my new blog. One of my goals for this year is that much closer to coming true. This blog is mostly intended to show you stuff from my craft business but for the first blog I'm gonna start with Unity Stamp Company. They have a blog hop with their design team every Tuesday and they are letting the Unity Stamp show and tellers show them what they have been working on.

I've been working on a few cards these last two weeks. I have started making some encouragement cards for my niece as she was feeling a little overwhelm with it being her senior year so I'll just show you what I have made with my stamps that I bought about a month ago.

These are the first two that I did for my niece they were very pretty and they were the first two encouragements that I gave her.

This next one I made just for fun. I used the Blooming Rebecca Girl and the one of the sentiments from the Butterflies and sunbeams.

I love holidays here's this one for Halloween. These little girls are so cute I enjoyed getting them inked. I basically used my thumb and fingers to ink different colors. The orange for the pumpkins was from some puffy paints.

This is another Halloween and one of the cards that I made for my niece. I love encouraging my niece cause I can only do so much for her. If this all makes her smile then I know I did my job as an Aunt.

This was one that I love.  New Day Rooster is an awesome kit. It reminds me of a song.
The just a note kit is another awesome set. I enjoyed adding the Butterflies and Sunbeams kit too.

Okay I've used the the Molly girl kit quite often. It's one of the first kits that I bought and enjoy using it. This one though I added a little note for my niece and I hope she likes it.

Well that is my Unity Hop blog. Hope you all enjoyed it. Make sure to go by Unity and check out their sales this week.

Supplies used: Unity Stamp kit's Just a note, Sweet Little Halloween, Butterflies and sunbeams, New day Rooster, and the Loving Today kit, Molly girl and Blooming Rebecca girl were all used.
Stamp Ink, and Puffy Paint.
