Crafting and working

 So it's been a couple of years. I totally lost my excitement for crafting and was not able to craft as much. I was working two jobs at the time and my time and energy levels were just not there. I haven't crafted much I only get one day a month to craft all day so I save all my crafting for that day. How did I manage this, well I found the Craft Connection here in Fishers, IN. Once a month several ladies from a local Church get together and craft. It's been a great way to get stuff done and to make some new friends.

This past weekend I learned a lot new methods for card making and especially how to cut paper correctly. I know it's weird but I am really bad at measuring things. Anyways the last month I've done a lot of crafting  and got to make cards. Yes card making is back in my repertoire of crafts that I do . Can't wait to see what i come up with this year for  Christmas.  I have a couple of ideas but we'll see what happens.

Now that I'm back to stamping need to organize everything and get more supplies. Shh....don't tell my sisters.

Hope you  day was enjoyable. Today i have a wintery. I used the kit  some people  are  worth  melting  for.

I love this kit beacuase  it reminds me  of  one of my favorite  movies.  I tried  a tearing  technique  with my card so look a little  vintage.

GIU Week Day 3

Good evening  everyone, hope  your  night is going  great. Today I  have  for you a special  card for any dad.

The first  image  is the inside  where it says  " I'll  always be  your little girl "

The bottom image  says  "Be lovely " with Emma as the daughter.

How cute is that for a dad.  I love  the sentiments  of this kit. 

GIU week Day 2

Hello, everyone  how is your  day going.  Mine has been  going  pretty well. Today i made a folded card and use the Itty bitty  stamp sets Love with a love and Birdie  and a bear with the sentiment  thank you  for being  there.

I  took the chance  of  freelancing the tree on the outside. I also used the qoute "We loved with a love that was more than Love. Then i used  the sentiment  thank you  for being  there  on the inside of the  card. I think this card would  be  perfect  for  a mom, sister, grandma and  maybe a significant  other  don't  you  guys agree?
